New Clinic Space: The Heal House
Introducing the Heal House! I am delighted to announce that I have moved to a new practice space. Since this past May, we have been working to update a NE Portland mixed-use home built in 1908 into a brand-new office space. Our intention with the space is to bring together a group of experienced self-care practitioners that are the best in their field into a synergistically curated space designed for community, cleanliness, and comfort.
The following practitioners are at the Heal House:
Your’s Truly: offering intentional aesthetic treatments and IV therapy
Alissa Friedman (my sister) and Valerie Wallace, licensed massage therapists (LMT), with Body Ritual offering a variety of massage treatment
Katy Simmons, licensed aesthetician, with Lashpdx offering lash extensions
Kate Hoyle LMT and Kaelirose Cohen RN with Tended Root offering somatic bodywork and fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care.
Location
We are located five blocks west of the Bodhi Tree Clinic (my previous location) between 17th and 18th on NE Broadway Street. We are sandwiched between Speedy Glass and the Broadway books building and across the street from Helen Bernhard Bakery and Cadillac Cafe.
Parking
There is ample street parking that does not require payment. For your first visit to the Heal House, please give yourself some extra time to orient yourself with the parking situation. You may find parking in front of the building or have to park on a side street.
Entering the building
Following the Oregon Health Authority’s mask mandate in a healthcare setting, masks are required when entering the building. One will be provided if you do not have one. All doors will remain locked during business hours and you will be provided the door code via text prior to your visit. To enter, place your hand over the lock box, press the two numbers that appear (sensored from the heat of your hand), then enter the provided 4 digit code. If you have any issues, contact my virtual receptionist at 971-717-3008 and they will walk you through the process. Once you enter, help yourself to refreshments and please note that treatments are in progress.
We have put a lot of work and love and time into this project and I cannot wait to share it with you. Thanks to my beautiful boyfriend who has been the most helpful, dependable, hardworking and resourceful person on this project. The transformation has exceeded all our expectations.
Happy New Year’s and I’ll see you soon at the Heal House.
With love,
Heather
